This might be their best trailer from a gameplay perspective. Saw some cool team synergy stuff that made sense that I normally don't see in their trailers. I also really like the fact that she has Angelo Cannon and then doggo stays around for awhile and can then be used as an attack later. Mechanics like that are super fun!

I just bought Lanota. The game is pretty good if you're into music games. Quite a few of the tracks are catchy too. I don't like how much movement there is though. It's actually enough to give me motion sickness. I also think it detracts from the overall gameplay experience. Still enjoying it but I usually get annoyed once they start using the rotating and movement stuff in stages. Wish that wasn't a thing. edit: played about 6 songs. I'm absolutely wrecked. Feels like when I played Windlands in VR without any of the comfort settings.

Thread: Playing Metal Gear Solid for the first time - PS1 original or The Twin Snakes?
Just play the series in release order, including Twin Snakes. The original is definitely better though. There are so many things the original does better, which is a combination of everything. The voice acting, the music. The tone of events. TTS feels so sterile in comparison. It's fun to mess around in though.

It's really easy to just get lost in this game collecting stuff. I have 97 moons right now and I don't want to stop. Learning how to best control Mario to maximize your jumping height and distance is lots of fun.

the New World concert at ACEN was pretty awesome. I went on Sunday (they had a show on Saturday too). They played a few songs that will be in their second album, which is exciting. I've been to New World around 5 times now so it was nice hearing new tunes. I really liked their rendition of Chaos Shrine. It was just so damn wonderful. I'll be thinking about it for awhile. Next video game concert in Chicago is Kingdom Hearts in July. I cannot wait!

Oh noooo. Where are you from? I've been to every show in Chicago since they started doing Dear Friends many moons ago. Distant Worlds has a bunch of concerts every year all over the place. Perhaps you can check their website and see if there's anything near you? The music from FF is super important to me and going to the concerts is overwhelmingly awesome. Hope you can experience it one day! I definitely recommend it. Back when I did game journalism I was able to do a giveaway and one person happened to be visiting from a different country. I ended up getting an incredibly heart warming email from that person a few days after the show. It really is something else :)

I know a bunch of people who are super mad about the recent change but I really don't see it being that big of a deal. I know the biggest argument is the freedom to do whatever you want with it, which is not at all the way I ever looked at it. I always looked at it as: movie prices are usually around $15 in Chicago. As long as I see a single movie in a month it's already cheaper. If I see two then that's pretty damn awesome! Since I got my MoviePass in December I've been to the theater 26 times. Which I'd consider as a lot. I generally only see 1 or 2 movies a year prior to this. The only movie I ever had a repeat viewing of was Black Panther (saw it 3 times). In February, April, and March I saw no more than 4 movies in each month. Even if MoviePass were to disappear tomorrow I definitely got my money's worth. The only thing that I think doesn't make sense is that new subscribers can only see up to 4 movies AND they can't do repeat viewings. With such a limitation already in place you should have the ability to see the same movie 4 times if they wanted. For unlimited users I can see why they made the limitation. I'd personally love if I could see a movie twice. Despite that, I'm still getting some value based on my most recent viewing trends. I definitely do not want to see the service disappear. But there is something funny about how people were like "this is so awesome, it's way too good to be true, MoviePass is gonna die!" but now they are trying to do something possibly more reasonable and those same people are like "MoviePass should die!" Even if you do pay out of pocket for a repeat viewing of a movie, at least where I live, it's still cheaper to have MoviePass.

Debating on pulling for Terra's 35CP but I don't want to get bopped with garbage. Does anyone know who the next event is after this one? The new co-op level is suuuuuper easy even with randoms. It's nice being able to just quickly breeze through these unlike the Ace event.

I am stupidly addicted to this game. I seriously have put more time into it than I should and I haven't spent any real money yet, thankfully. Currently have Tifa, Squall, WoL, Cloud at 50. Almost got Terra, Vaan, and Zidane at 50 now too. Everyone else is between high 40s and near 30s. I've actually been having a lot of fun with Yuffie and got her currently to 45 STR and 39 LVL. Ended up getting Yuna's staff in the ticket pull last night. She's so ridiculously OP it's hilarious. I love it. edit: Rebuffing Malboro in the co-op battle as Yuffie is way more fun than it should be
