It looks awesome. Can't wait to go home and take some photos. Too bad its already dark or I would go out. Tho I guess some areas are hazardous now? Fire department closed some street because of dangerous trees, lots of HUGE branches on cars & streets. They said: keep your children inside today

Some lighter snow with some rain here in the south of Finland. I wish it would snow a bunch already I want to go sledding with my daughter. But from what it seems this might be the norm for the winter. Snow definitely helps brighten the short days and long dark nights.

Thread: Europe-ERA, are you ok? It's snowing...
Plenty of times in the US I saw full sheets of ice from the roof of cars sliding off with the wind on to incoming traffic, as well as a flurry of snow blowing from it. I completely agree. I'll up it one more tho. Only in Troy NY did I ever experience the wrath of me shoveling my car out nicely, clearing sidewalks, while most neighbors would not, and saw cars rock themselves out of the snow where they were parked to park on the clear spot I had just shoveled. The fury. They didn't shovel at all... just go park where it's already nice and clear. Glad this doesn't happen where I am at so far. Finland seems to be pretty good at adding the gravel and sand everywhere, and they keep the roads nice and clear. I don't stumble on my way to anywhere because people didn't shovel their sidewalks. So good.

Juegan como nunca. Pierden como siempre. Vamos muchachos! There is a statistic that came up during Mexico first game this WC. Mexico has been in the WC 16 times now. Making them the team that has participated the most and not won the cup. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

At least Mexico didn't fall apart like they did against Sweden. After the first goal, they did not know what to do. They kept playing alright. It's too bad they can't seem to consolidate the chances they get. While Brazil does. That other thread about Mexico being mediocre has another checkmark to add to his theory haha.

Sadly at release it won't have any pro enhancements. Except for the default standard of games running better on the pro. But I'll push to see if we can add some down the line as an update. The game is pretty immersive as is in VR. But the tangible nature of the controllers really make for a wonderful experience. Add a friend to coop and the feeling of isolation is gone and it's a lot of fun. Deffo the best way to play the game. Not sure what you mean about the floating hand. But you can hold ok to any surface, including your partner to float around. If you're ever visiting you should drop by. =) It's a pretty small team but it's also one with a lot of experience and diversity. So it makes for some fun dev and ideas.

Like the length of the main campaign? for an experienced player... maybe 4 hrs? in coop maybe 5. For casuals i think around 6 would be it. Is this what you're asking? i am not sure hehe.

ah, that's tough to say... i think its a bit more shooting than anything else. Horus Station is kinda big so traversing the ship would be second time-consuming thing. Puzzles are simple so i would not think those are a time sink. There is quite a bit of narrative embedded into the station, so if you do explore and pay attention you'll probably get a better payout when it comes to understanding whats going on. There is a dev diary coming soon i think about the design, i'll post it here when its out. I think it talks about this. EDIT: To add an example. We have a preview of the first act where our designer flies by the whole main part in around 20 mins. But most people that have play tested the game have taken around an hr or a bit more. Some people do like to inspect and read things, others might have a different pace. In coop it'll usually be pretty long exp as well.

We had a thing where with any jitter, or getting to close to a wall would bounce me back involuntarily, that would bring a major headache. So i can understand that. There are just a lot of little things that might add to the feeling. Also the speed at which you move might trigger it. Messing around with values of the game did that to me quite a bit. From too fast, to the sudden stop of flying into a wall. I dunno if i can stand more now that i am used to it, but i do know that Horus was made with that in mind so its lesser to an extent. I like the teleport mode tho but its a bit jarring.

I would say 4 to 5 hrs. Depending on the pace. If you play coop maybe 5 to 6. Across 8 chapters. This is the full realization of a game from the vertical slice that was prologue.

is on its last stretch and I thought I would raise some awareness of it here. Even tho the game has a flat version that can be played with K+M or a controller, the best immersive experience would be in VR. So this seems like a good place to post. Are you new to VR? When i first started to work on VR i think the first couple of times i got the worst headache ever. There is a ramp of endurance that i had to build up. Now its not a problem. DS was designed to minimize the nausea feeling with the locomotion we use, so it might just be your sensibility to using the design. That, or maybe the pressure of the headset on the bridge of your nose? I know when i started using the headset, depending on the one it would get some uncomfortable feeling until i got used to the hardware.

Happy i can help. Not sure if the sun stains have been previously discussed here. But i know other forums i checked after it happened to me was a topic that had quite a few replies. I guess its just a known issue of the tech. So i am not really sure how dependent of the model this is and so on. You would have to look for your specific model and see if there are lots of people complaining about it. Choosing a new TV like this is such a chore haha. The HDMI cable should have the info on the box or the information. Where are you buying from? Those ones i linked are pretty good and they work with everything super well, so at least they are vetted. I am sure you're super excited to get the TV already. :D I have to say that Dolby Vision is quite a looker. Even on Netflix with the slight compression, it looks pretty amazing. I was gonna watch Annihilation on my phone the other day until i realized the movie has Dolby Vision. So now I have to watch it on the TV. Does that model you're getting have support for HDR+? Thats a nice feature to have.

At home we have some blinds... but i still leave a soft flannel blanket on top when i go to work if its a super sunny day. haha. The time i noticed i had gotten some stains in it i freaked out. Pixel Refresher worked on my set, but not sure if that is an option that works all the time. Specially if its an overtime stain. Amm... as far as the HDMIs it all depends. as long as it supports the 2.2 handshake and is good quality any kind will do. These are pretty good and i've had no issues. They're also sturdy. Whenever you have HDR outpout your TV should let you know with a prompt that its running in HDR. Which TV do you have? I have the LGC7, i don't think it tells me the resolution change tho, and for me to get information on the screen i have to use an app on the phone since they ditched the info button on the controller. Which is super dumb. Apps like Amazon Prime do let you know what you're streaming so that is always nice. When you go to settings you should be able to see those options.

Do you know that effect on games where you see the ghosting of a decal on top when taking too much damage? they look like stains on the outskirts of the TV as you play? Its like that but on whatever shape and where the sun hits the TV. Even bounce light that is on the TV can cause this. Here is a video that kinda shows what I'm talking about. HDMIs i use are these.

Do you have a source for the not playing on the tv? is there any particular reason? i have not heard this before, maybe they want you to have someone calibrate it before being used? When i got mine I had to wait for my move to deliver my gaming stuff so I only had access to youtube and netflix and i used to that semi calibrate the tv. Once i got my tv and consoles i set up everything properly, but no idea how much time i spent on the tv before that happened. Something that you should be aware of that scared the crap out of me on the TV was sun stains. Just try to not leave the tv in direct sunlight or where sun bounces hard on to it. I just refreshed the pixels and that did the trick when i got an aura but it scared the shit out of me.
