Hello! Today we’re pleased to introduce Community Spotlights, a new feature we’re experimenting with in order to bring more visibility to communities that often feel buried in the Hangouts subforums. We will, on a twice weekly basis, move over one |OT| from each Hangouts section to the corresponding main forum and pin it. The idea is to give smaller communities more exposure and an opportunity to grow. This process does require opt-ins. This is neither mandatory nor automated. In order for your community to opt-in, your |OT| creator/thread holder needs to reply to this post to state that your community is interested and provide a link to your current OT. The only way a community will be opted in is if the current thread holder for your community does this. In the event of a disagreement within a community or the community and a thread holder or any other issue of the sort, please reach out to me directly via email. This system will operate on a rotating schedule set in random order, and will include every community that opts-in. That full schedule will be posted here so every community will know in advance when their turn is coming. Sign-ups are open now and will be open until Sunday at 11:00 pm CST. At that point, we will be creating the schedule, post it publicly, and moving the first community at 12:00 am CST the next day. Games as a serivce. Service games. They are inherently never finished by your standard because they are always advertising and release new content to continue to drive players back to the game. That means that any game that adds content which is advertised is not finished until every piece of advertised content is released. Which in the case of Overwatch which is always adding new heroes means the game will never be finished.

I wouldn't say it is a safe Battlefield. There is a lot of inventive ideas under the hood, namely the new animations, no random recoil, reduced health regen, reduced ammo, server-side code for easy updates, dragging bodies, reduced vehicle impact, squad teamwork with revives and re-spawning crucial to success, etc. I would say this is probably the most innovative Battlefield in a long, long time.

I finished God of War today. I really enjoyed the game, The reveals at the end were very nice, but man do I want mooooooooore. That Faye was a giant and boy is Loki was an awesome surprise. When I returned to Midgard and found Ragnarok was only a few years away, I was like oh shit. The story itself was super self contained and had a satisfying conclusion. They did an awesome job of setting up where they're going in the future, I just wish I could play it right now! :c

Since Starfinder seems to have been an extremely successful launch, I'm looking forward to Second Edition of Pathfinder. Pathfinder had a lot of bloat from more than a decade of play. If they can take the systems that they experimented with Starfinder and reapply to Pathfinder, I'm so looking forward to that. Also, PC goblins hype!

It's also worth noting that the Playtest release lines up with the start of Gencon which is to be expected. That's where they released Starfinder last year. Assuming all goes well with the playtest, they'll probably release/start 2E at Gencon 2019.

For me, I will always do Pathfinder simply because Pathfinder Society is above and beyond better than anything that WotC has created. Adventurers League is in its infancy compared to where Pathfinder Society is at. I am really looking forward to them taking the 10 seasons of Pathfinder Society and hopefully channeling that into lore or something so they can start with a fresh slate.

I'm curious to see how this will play out in the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see them add things like a background with gives attribute points similar to how Starfinder works. If you haven't checked out Starfinder, it really did seem like a possible prelude to what a 2nd Edition Pathfinder might look it, and it plays awesome. Based on how Starfinder turned out, I'm really excited to see Pathfinder 2E. My expectation is Starfinder improvements (simplified combat, action economy) + general Pathfinder improvements (cleaning up existing rule sets) = 2E Also, The two big conventions I will go to is Gencon, which has become Pathfinder's home since WotC pulled out, and DragonCon which isn't as heavily PFS focused, but it does still manage to have a strong showing. That being said, there is a incredible Pathfinder Org Play discord where they are running modules and gameplay through Roll20 or other websites for free, and Paizo has heavily committed to supporting online society play. Online play has it's own leadership within Society play, too. They now give out boons and GM stars for online conventions like TPKon or FG-Con.

It's a streamlined Pathfinder with significant changes, namely more focused on ranged combat with guns and such. There is some cool armor modification systems, personal upgrades, etc. They've also got some systems with ship to ship combat, although there are definitely improvements that need to be made in that area. I've been working my way through the Dead Suns AP for Starfinder Society play, and I've really enjoyed the stories that it has to offer so far. The world definitely feels science fiction and futuristic while still having the more fantasy and mystery elements of Pathfinder.

Fortification system feels very hollow for usage beyond a few extremely situational moments. Given that it requires time and you have to stop doing what is fun (trying to shoot other people), the system needs to be more impactful. Walls need to be bigger. More building locations. Different types of buildings ( like machine gun nests, etc.) Fortifications to stop vehicles. More points allocated towards people who build fortifications. All in all, the system feels like a hollow afterthought that, when it works it works, but by and large is so useless in any given situation that it isn't worth the time investment to spend any amount of time working on fortifying a location. An expirenced team that is focused on winning at the cost of fun might make good use of them. The average player won't spend any amount of significant time fortifying unless there is changes made to the system to make it more enticing.

I think I'm about done with the Alpha. I had a lot of fun with it, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the full product. It seems like Battlefield V has the right stuff so to speak, but it's hard to tell with the limited abilities of the Alpha test. The biggest problem with this test was simply the squad functionality not working. Hopefully they get that fixed for the beta. You mentioned therapy, have you tried talking to a therapist about this? I can relate somewhat. I used to have problems with empathy, started my HRT, and then suddenly -bam!- emotions and empathy like crazy. For me, it's not nearly as bad as you're describing, but it definitely had a long adjustment period where I had to get used to feeling things so much. My recommendation would be to to seek a therapist. Yes, feeling empathy and emotion is good, but if it is suffocating you, something is probably out of sync. It might be a mental health thing or a medication thing. Either way, a therapist would know how to help you best.

Hello. I am stepping into this thread to clarify a few things as requested. On the topic of NSFW and what defines it, the U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly declined to strictly define "obscenity." Instead, the justices wisely settled on a "we know what's obscene when we see it" type of approach. And that's what we're going to do here. We cannot articulate a precise guideline as to what will be or won't be allowed. Instead, we will approach things on a case-by-case basis. We encourage our users to exercise restraint when it comes to posting questionable material. In a less legal-speak, if you wouldn't want someone to see you looking at it at work, don't post it on ResetEra. Keep things PG-13. On the topic of lewdness, masturbation jokes, etc, if it is determined to be sexist or objectifying in any nature, warnings, and bans will be issued. We take a no-nonsense stance when it comes to those sorts of matters. Yes, we are a new team, but we have a more diverse staff here including women. ResetEra is not a "guys" club. It seems to be indicating a far, far future, and we don't know when that timeline picks up. All see is future host-William get off the ground, into an elevator, step off of an elevator and enter the chamber for fidelity testing. Current real-William doesn't seem to get off the ground, is picked up by QA, and is found in the stretcher when Stubbs visits him.

It's worth noting: re Bernard theory... what if the "I killed them all" is Arnold? Not Bernard? If Delos was experimenting with storing DNA, what if Hopkins recreated (literally) Arnold? Also, there was this shot from the trailers that seemed to pretty heavily hint at there being multiple Bernards, so it could just be another Bernard copy?

So, did anyone catch the fact that Bernard killed all of the hosts? When he was doing the mesh net thing to search for Abernathy like Hale wanted, looked a lot like he was starting a death protocol that would spread from host to host like a plague. That's why at the end of the episode he says he thinks he killed them all. The Mesh Network routine he used infected all the hosts and killed them.

I'm not sure if it explicitly happened in that scene, but we're shown a way for hosts to communicate to each other without them knowing through the Mesh Network. We're then shown, by the end of the episode, all the hosts in one area and "dead." Logic says that the mesh network is what caused this. We know that Bernard knows/can use the Mesh Network and is currently in a location with access to it. Bernard->Mesh Network->Hosts "dead" all in one location.

I did balance druid for raidinging for the first few weeks of EN, then that's when my sub lapsed for a year. Balance druid was an awesome class, although I never got any legos on them. Right now, I'm using my balance turned guardian druid as a bank alt. My main is a protein paladin. I used my BFA boost on a monk. I have one last character on alliance side (110 mage) that I need to transfer over to Horde at some point. My current roster is 110 Tauren Druid (Guardian) 110 Belf Pally (Prot/Holy) 110 Belf Monk (Windwalker) 110 Human Mage (Frost) 105 Belf Demon Hunter (Havoc) 63 Belf Death Knight (Blood) 23 Orc Warrior (Arms) 22 Undead Warlock (Affliction) And some lower level characters that are mostly name reserves. I'll be getting the Demon Hunter to 110 soon leveling with my SO, so I'm not worried about getting the Demon Hunter to 110. If I was get to another class or classeses to 110 before Battle for Azeroth hits, which class(es) should I proritize first?

Unless you have a full roster of 110 characters, my understanding is it will be fairly impossible to pay for a token in a month off of the class hall. If you're looking for gearing up your character and your followers, Argus is the place to go. Legionfall campaign also unlocks a sixth champion/slot to you so it might be worth investing in too.
