M$ being pro consumer? When? Post-worning EDIT: no, really: cross platform is not a pro-consumer move on no one’s part. Whoever will lag behind in sales will always want to take a piece of the pie of whoever is in front. Someone today could buy a console only because that’s what their friends have. If who is in front takes that obstacle away, they’d make their product way weaker. The fact that it would be convenient for everyone is a separate issue.
