Title: Do people here actually know what concentration camps were?

I understand the current situation how America treats children and puts them into camps is sickening and a low point in recent American history. But I am pretty much in disbelief how much the word "concentration camp" gets thrown around in these threads. Either people don't know what they actually were, or they dismiss how absolutely disgusting these camps were. Both reasons are pretty bad. Guys, the kids are NOT in concentration camps. I spare you the pictues, you can google them yourself. Better yet, visit a camp yourself! Some choice quotes what happened there (which is not even everything): Also if you visit one of the camps you can see things like: - Clawmarks inside the Gas chambers - Piles of shoes, clothes, gold teeth, other "valuables" that got taken from the executed to be "reused" (or in case of the gold teeth sold) - The medical examination rooms - The cells with handcuffs at the walls and all of the above mentioned. I know the situation in USA is bad and you are rightfully mad, but please don't throw around the word concentration camp like this. These camps were a crime against humanity and actually still exist in some form (North Korea) today, which is bad enough. But the camps these children are in are FAR from concentration camps! Thankfully so!
