What the fuck? You don't think white people were the first to get lower acceptance rates due to AA decades ago? I grew up in upper middle class and majority Asian neighborhoods for most of my life. There is a totally toxic attitude towards viewing education and career as a strict formula that I do believe hinders personality. Do all Asians grow up in those neighborhoods? No. But I am totally in favor of income-based affirmative action as most of what a student accomplishes in k-12 is determined by their environment and by what their parents tell them to do.
