I don't understand the vitriol toward the teacher in this thread? It seemed he wanted to be able to maintain his beliefs by compromising and instead of using the students birth name decided to use their last name. Sure, he shouldn't expect to keep his job because of the school's policy, but not everyone agrees with transgenderism.
