It was more that her character was in a about a third of the movie and accomplished nothing and wasted everybody's time. The whole Rose-&-Finn-go-to-casino-world-to-get-the-code-breaker-but-instead-save-the-horse-doggies shit was the biggest sin in a litany of awful choices in that movie. If you cut that whole side story out of the movie what would you lose? Would the movie be better? Arguably yes. Her character is no Jar Jar Binks but she doesn't add anything to the story. Unlike her sister who was great. It's ridiculous that people are attacking her personally but that's what you sign up for with star wars. If anyone is to blame it should be Rian Johnson. Seriously that guy shouldn't have been paid.
