The theater version of movies was pirated just as quick and I watched it. Here pick a random movie that’s been out for years and go try to pirate it and see how many hoops you have to jump through. Now you may be tech savvy and can do it but how many people who will do this rather than just pay for Netflix or their VOD? It’s just easier. Pirated movies existed way before the internet and there always will be pirated content. It’s just like the pirated video game debate with DRM. This time the DRM is the damn cinema
