Yeah he's an asshole, but she sounds like one herself as well. 1. Felt the need to "advertise" her deed on social media so she can get the validation she desires, something I'm not a fan of. I know people who advertise whenever they give a couple bucks to a homeless person on their FB or whatever (making it a "story" about how "good" it made them feel) and I find it pretty distasteful. Implies the original intention wasn't driven by any kind of altruism, more like "I cant wait to see how many likes I can get for this" and needing the world to applaud them for their "charity". 2. Even though the guy sounds like a bit of a loon, her response was both disrespectful, dismissive, and expletive laden. Not gonna celebrate her for that. She doesn't sounds like a great person herself.
