Did you notice that you weren't getting shit experience for anything other than public events? Quality design mechanic there to funnel people away from crucible, raids, and strikes just so they can run from public even to public event in the hopes of getting a slot machine engram. Bungie noticed this and then gamed the system, got caught, and then just doubled the amount of XP needed to get an engram. Again, so much better than actually making these popular items memorable to receive by making them rewards for playing specific activities to get specific items. Ohhhhh the outage is "fake". Good to know. Shut up.
